Our Goals

Develop a Robust Neighborhood Leaders Program

Assist local Democratic organizations to develop a robust and sustainable Neighborhood Leaders program so there are folks in every possible precinct who build friendships with their neighbors, hold the occasional potluck dinner or coffee and work together on robust precinct organizing during election years and take on local or state projects or issues during off election years.

Enhance Democratic Organizational Capabilities

Assist Democratic Legislative Districts, Counties and other local Democratic organizations across Washington State in the 2009-2010 cycle to enhance their functionality as organizations and build a robust and active volunteer membership.

Build a Robust Local Internet Presence

Build a significant presence on the local blog scene, telling stories about  successful grassroots organizing and projects, and linking to stories in more specialized, grassroots-oriented blogs, i.e. Democratic organizations, Labor, agricultural, LD, Latino, Native American, etc. as a way of tying these communities more closely together.

Develop New Media Communications Strategies

Assist Democratic and other progressive organizations across Washington State get their stories out and get people involved in their issues and organizations.
